Arrival by Air

The main airports located near the city of São Paulo are Guarulhos International Airport (GRU), Viracopos International Airport (VCP), and Congonhas Airport (CGH). The GRU Airport is the largest and most important among Brazilian airports and should be the preferable option for reaching the CinC 2025 venue if you come from abroad.

Guarulhos International Airport (GRU)

The airport typically operates between 700 to 850 flights daily. This number includes both departures and arrivals, for domestic and international flights.

Guarulhos Airport operates flights from various international airlines such as Emirates, Lufthansa, British Airways, and American Airlines, among others.

Viracopos International Airport (VCP)

The Viracopos/Campinas International Airport (VCP) operates a variety of daily flights, both domestic and international.

To get to São Paulo from Viracopos International Airport (VCP), located in Campinas city (approx. 120km from the city of São Paulo), you have several transportation options. Here are the main ones:

1. Executive Bus (Lirabus/Cometa)

  • Duration: Approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to 2 hours.
  • Cost: Approximately R$ 40 to R$ 50.
  • Details: Executive buses provide direct services to São Paulo with stops at central locations such as Tietê Bus Terminal and Barra Funda. The buses are comfortable and air-conditioned. (Lirabus/Cometa)

2. Taxi or Ride-Hailing Apps

  • Duration: Approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to 2 hours, depending on traffic.
  • Cost: R$ 250 to R$ 350, depending on the destination and time.

3. Rental Car

  • Duration: Approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to 2 hours, depending on traffic.
  • Cost: Varies, depending on the rental company and type of car.
  • Details: Car rental companies are available at the airport. The drive can be made via the Bandeirantes or Anhanguera Highways.

Congonhas Airport (CGH)

Congonhas Airport (CGH) is an important hub for domestic flights, operating mainly on routes within Brazil. Some of the main airlines operating at the airport include LATAM Airlines, Gol Linhas Aéreas, Azul Linhas Aéreas, and Voepass Linhas Aéreas.

The airport has no direct connection with metro stations. We recommend taking a taxi or ride-hailing app to your destination in São Paulo city.

Arriving at the Conference Venue

The Rebouças Convention Center, strategically located near the Hospital das Clínicas and the Heart Institute (InCor), benefits from its proximity to these two healthcare landmarks in Latin America. The Hospital das Clínicas, the largest hospital complex on the continent, and InCor, one of the world’s most advanced cardiology centers, bring prestige and relevance to Rebouças, making it an ideal venue for scientific events and conferences in the fields of medicine and technology.

The conference will take place at the Rebouças Convention Center, located at Avenida Rebouças, 600, in Pinheiros, São Paulo. To facilitate your arrival, the Rebouças Convention Center is conveniently connected to São Paulo’s public transportation system. The city features an integrated metro network that connects various regions, making access to the event more convenient.

The main lines serving the Rebouças Convention Center area are:

  • Yellow Line (Line 4): The closest stations are Clínicas Station or Oscar Freire Station. Both are within a short walking distance from the convention center, approximately 5 to 7 minutes.
  • Green Line (Line 2): If you are using this line, transfer at Consolação Station to the Yellow Line at Paulista Station, heading towards Clínicas Station or Oscar Freire Station.

Transport in São Paulo

In São Paulo, foreigners have several transportation options for getting around the city. The metro is fast and efficient, covering both central and suburban areas, with fares around R$ 5 per trip. Buses provide an extensive network and are economical, also costing about R$ 5 per trip, though they may be slower due to traffic. Urban trains (CPTM) connect São Paulo to surrounding metropolitan areas and have similar fares to the metro, offering an alternative for some routes. Google Maps is a useful tool for navigating routes, whether walking or using public transportation.
